By accessing or using BringIt ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. BringIt is a peer-to-peer marketplace that connects buyers in Trinidad & Tobago with travelers returning from the United States to facilitate the transport of personal purchases.
To use BringIt, you must:
BringIt operates on a "Model A" basis: the buyer owns the purchased item. Travelers act as carriers, not personal shoppers. Specifically:
Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including Trinidad & Tobago customs regulations, airline baggage policies, and import/export regulations. By using BringIt, you agree to:
BringIt is not responsible for customs seizures, fines, or penalties incurred by any party. Users accept all legal risk associated with their transactions.
The following limits apply to all transactions on the Platform:
BringIt charges a per-transaction platform fee based on the declared item value:

Fees are non-refundable except in cases of platform error.
All payments are processed through Stripe and held in escrow until delivery is confirmed. Escrow is released under the following conditions:
In the event of a dispute, users should first attempt to resolve the matter through the BringIt messaging system. If no resolution is reached, BringIt may facilitate mediation. BringIt's decision in any dispute is final. BringIt is not liable for lost, damaged, or delayed items beyond the escrow amount.
Users may not:
BringIt reserves the right to suspend or permanently ban any account that violates these Terms, engages in fraudulent activity, or poses a risk to the community — with or without prior notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BringIt and its officers, employees, and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to lost items, customs seizures, missed flights, or financial loss.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Trinidad & Tobago. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Trinidad & Tobago.
BringIt may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
